Chinese pavilion

Today we learnt why the place we are hanging out and welcoming our clients is called ‘het chinese paviljoen’.  The tower was built in 1802 by owner of the property with castle Mr.J.G. Smets. It shows ‘Gemeentelijk Zwemdok Boeckenberg’ and is decorated with chinese dragons and copper bells.
